Vault Series UPS's are also configurable as battery-less, power conditioners/voltage regulators. With a simple firmware change and removal of the standard batteries, the unit is converted to one that will take care of 8 of the 9 power quality issues. This saves cost, weight, maintenance and makes them more environmentally friendly.
